The final exhibition featuring the results of all 17 thesis projects will open to the public on Friday 11th December 2009 at 8pm in the IED school, calle Larra 14, Madrid, and will close down on 17th December 2009.</p>

This competition entry was developed in collaboration with consultants from <a class="offsite-link-inline" href="http://www.arup.com/Global_locations/Spain.aspx" target="_blank">Ove Arup Spain</a>.</p>

It consists of a series of thematic pods built inside one of the <a class="offsite-link-inline" href="http://learningcenter.epfl.ch/page29889-en.html" target="_blank">Rolex Learning Centre</a> "bubbles" devised by Japanese architects <a class="offsite-link-inline" href="http://learningcenter.epfl.ch/page68423.html" target="_blank">SANAA</a>. The execution is done in collaboration with <a class="offsite-link-inline" href="http://www.norarchitectes.ch/" target="_blank">NOR architectes</a> from Lausanne and completion is expected for February 2010.</p>

The announcing ceremony took place on 4th October 2009 during the <a class="offsite-link-inline" href="http://www.experimentadesign.pt/2009/en/index.html" target="_blank">Experimenta Design 09</a> festival. The awarded projects will be exhibited in the EXD09 hall in Lisbon between 4th-9th October 2009.</p>

It consists of a single furniture-architecture element that articulates a two-level working environment and a staircase, while at the same time giving privacy to the living side of the apartment.</p>
